Job Description :

AMANST Inc. is looking for Senior UX Designer for a contract opportunity with Ontario Government.

 

Estimated Business Days: 85 days

 

Location: Remote

 

Must Haves:

  • 2 years of Salesforce experience
  • 2 years of UX Design experience

 

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 
  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer 
  • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant 
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator 
  • Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces in alignment with OPS -wide standards.
  • Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
  • Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into personas, sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.

 

General Skills:

  • Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
  • Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications, understanding and advocating for user needs.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
  • Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies
  • Experience in designing online programs with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience
  • Experience collecting data about the users and presenting it to the extended team along with the recommendations.
  • Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Experience designing the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing
  • Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mock-ups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Experience facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions
  • Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
  • Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces throughout different product phases
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience

 

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

 

Technical Skills - 70%

  • Expertise in UX software such as Figma ,JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative
  • Cloud and Zeplin. HTML5, CSS3, and JS skills (React, Angular, NodeJS), are a plus.
  • Incorporate OPS-wide design standards into designs.
  • Gather data and summarize user needs and painpoints to deliver identified UX requirements and solution using Salesforce features and OmniStdudio
  • Use Vlocity Omniscripts, Vlocity cards, and lightning web components as needed by the new solution
  • Create user personas, low and high-fidelity prototypes and designs for development team.
  • Design & build required user experience leveraging relevant Salesforce skills including SLDS, LWC, Aura and others
  • Experience with Salesforce Digital Experience/ Sites
  • Extend (if required) the current data model in consultation with the Salesforce Technical Architect.
  • Facilitate user research, interviews and user testing sessions, develop scripts, synthesize data and identify user priorities and recommendations for the core team considerations.
